Why do cats pee on dog beds and bathroom mats?
My cat is 10 years old and he pees on my dog's bed and the bathroom mats but never anywhere else except to the litter box. Why does he keep doing this and how do i stop him?

Why does my cats pee on my bed and how do you make him stop?
i have two male 8 month old kittens that are litter mates and one of them is beginning to make it a habit to urinate on my bed i have caught him doing this several times and the last time i caught him i sprayed him with a water bottle and left him alone in the restroom with the litter box for ten minutes. I don't understand why he does this, i clean his litter box twice a day and the last time he peed on my down comforter i had just cleaned the litter box a few minutes before. I haven't changed the brand of litter and i took them to the vet recently and he said they were healthy. He also urinates on clothes if i leave them on the floor and on his cat bed but not anywhere else in the house. I'm tired of having to constantly wash my bed spread and blanket and I'm getting fed up with having to throw away the cat beds and cubes that he ruins. If anyone has any ideas for why he does this or any suggestions on how i can stop this behavior please share them with me because i am at my wits end Thanks in advance for your help.also i forgot to mention he is neutered... he uses the litter box most of the time but at least once every week or two he urinates on the bed... and he's not spraying, he literally kneels down and pee's like hes using the litter box.

My cat is going on clothes, beds, and carpet. HELP!?
We just got a 6 year old cat from a friend. He was going to the bathroom on their clothes and thought it was the recent changes in his home. But he is doing it here too. He went on my 4 year olds bed and the floor in the hallway. Could there be something medically wrong or is this cat just extreamly weird? This is my first cat.

How can I stop cats from using my flower beds as their litter box?
I have tried a combination that I purchased at Lowe's. I have tried amonia in a spray bottle. I have tried red pepper. I have tried downy dryer sheets. I have tried moth balls. Now in the past couple of weeks the cat has begun clawing at my window screen. The owner is offering no help at all

How can I train my cats to sleep in their own bed?
My cats are 1.5 years old and I just got them 3 weeks ago. The previous owner let them sleep in his bed but I just can't do it because they move around so much that they wake me up all the time and even the heaviest duty sleep meds can't keep me asleep when they're biting my hand. So my question is thus how do I train my two cats to sleep in their own beds. I don't want to put them in crates because I feel that isn't very good treatment since they don't have the same sleep schedule as me and they should be able to roam when they want.Mrrrg....I don't think you guys get what I am asking for help with. I need to train them to sleep in their own beds, not because I don't love them, but because I am on an extremely high dose of sleep medication and they still wake me up. I love waking up to cuddles, if I could even train them to sleep in a corner or two of my bed that would be cool. I also have the problem of when I travel to my parents' for a few weeks and they only have a twin bed to sleep on so they lay on top of me. Not cool.If you have advice on how to train them to go to a bed when they want to sleep that isn't my bed please respond. I don't want to have to lock them away from their food and litter, which is in the bathroom which you have to go through my bedroom to get to.I also don't want to use catnip or food to train them because studies show that doing so doesn't teach them to do something when you want or need them to, it teaches them a new way to ask for something. Besides, catnip is marijuana for cats, think of it that way. That is an extracurricular activity or a special treat, not an every day " carrot on a stick" to make them act certain ways.
