Are feather beds comfortable?
Are they washable? Can I fold a feather bed? I thinking of getting one for my travel trailer.
Fiber beds versus feather beds, which is better? What is difference?
My husband and I are looking to make our bed more comfortable I have had a feather bed before and it kept losing feathers so it was a headache but not sure if it was just a cheap one, has anyone used one that was great and anyone heard or tried of these fiber beds? WHich is best?
Anyone have any feedback on feather beds?

Could I be allergic to my feather bed?
Everytime I lay down, almost instantly I start coughing, my throat starts to feel itchy and I can't breath normally. I don't have asthma. But I just recently purchased my cal king feather bed & I'm afraid it is making me ill. I don't think I have a cough virus or anything, because I haven't made anyone sick in my home. I just cough a lot, whenever I lay in my feather bed & it seems to slowly subside when I'm not in it. What should I do? Any suggestions? Should I switch to a fiber bed instead?I never had these symptoms before until I got the feather bed which i'm sitting in now, with my laptop. By the way are fiber beds machine washable? because feather beds are dry clean only. So, I gave my feather bed away, after sleeping in it for less than 2 weeks & purchased a fiber bed instead... not nearly as comfortable for my body but I slept through the night without awaking & coughing all night. I haven't fully recovered, I'm still coughing when I'm exposed to dust outdoors, I'd sneeze 6 x or more consecutively and cough. It's as if I am now having asthma like symptoms. Prior to sleeping in my feather bed, I was not as sensitive to dust as I became now. Today I'm starting to breath better, hopefully I will fully recover within a few days.
