Transitioning to toddler beds?
Ok so I am transistioning my twins to toddler beds. They were great sleepers but now that they can get out of their beds...wow they never stop. Their bedtime is at 8 00...they didn't knock out until after 11 last night. Its naptime now and I have to keep going in there and putting them back in their beds. They think its a game. Any advice? How long will this last?
How old can a child be in a toddler bed?
My almost two year old is currently sleeping on a bottom bunk but I want to buy him a toddler bed so when his younger brother is big enough for one they can have matching beds.. My other son will be in one in about 6 8 months, is it worth buying one?
Having problem using convertible crib for a toddler bed as it is...Help please!?
I have an 18 month old who I know is ready and would love to be in her big girl bed. Recently she has been having a terrible time sleeping in her crib and I feel that a large deal of it is because she feels too confined ect. She is deffinatly a monkey and can get onto off of the couch and even coffee tables no prob. Well we got her one of those convertible cribs thinking it would be a great money saver even though it was a bit more to start, the problem is that even on the absolute lowest setting the matteress is soo high off the ground that she doesnt want to try gettin out of it. Also it said it came with a toodler rail, but that rail is really only good to hold the matteress in place from sliding out of the frame, it's about 1 2" higher then the mattress. It's just high enough that she won't try and climb over it cause it pokes her belly. Has anyone else had a problem with a converible crib being too high to use, and what was your solution? I don't want to go out and get one of those plastic beds because for 1 i'd have to take the whole crib apart and get it into the attic. ANd 2 I really love that all of her furniture matches ect. ANd I hate charectory crap. I really also do not want to go spend another $150 for a wooden toddler bed. ANy ideas?Well hers goes from crib to supposedly toddler daybed into a full sized bed. I didnt want to buy her mutlipe beds in her life so i thought this was a great solution. She is a peanut though so I know she is deffinatly not able to use a full sized bed which is bigger then a twin . Also hers does not have wheels or anything else that allows t to become shorter. And as far as a step stool I am just concerned of her going to get out of the bed and missing the stool or slipping off. Again she is pretty petite for her age so thats a big factor.
Where can I find a bed rail that fits a toddler bed?
I have a toddler bed and am having a hard time finding bed rails to fit it. Apparently they only make them for twin sized and up beds.Where can I find one to fit?
How do i know when my little toddlers are ready for a toddler bed?
i have twin girls who are almost 16mos old. they don't try to get out of their cribs as far as i can tell. but if they do try, they are too short to do it. slightly short for their age thanks to my genes p . i think i am getting ahead of myself, but would still like to know when i need to prepare to cough up the mullah for two toddler beds.
My three year old refuses to move into a toddler bed! ?
I tried putting him on a bed a year and a half ago, and he cried and cried for weeks and just came into our bed every night. It seemed silly to make him so unhappy when keeping him in a cot is not really a big deal, so I put him back in. I tried again last year and the same thing happened. Now he is three I feel he NEEDS to move into a toddler bed. How can I approach it carefully? I have tried everything Charts, rewards, making it fun, even offering to buy a new fun bed in the shape of a car or whatever. I have tried just putting him on a mattress on the ground, as well as putting him in a bed with a guard. He seems to have developed a fear towards sleeping in a bed and feels the security of being in a cot. He never escapes from his cot. He also has trouble sleeping. My older daughters were in big beds before they were 2 x
